With Introductions by the Curators of the exhibition, Sonja Kielty, Bradford Museums and Galleries and an indepth look at the ideas that underpin the Artists Folios exhibition by Professor Paul Coldwell, University of the Arts London, this promises to be an event creating debate around printmaking, folios, how artists use these processes and how are the folios used and viewed elsewhere? Guest speakers will provide further insights into the importance of the folio in Pop Art, the Northern Biennial, and perspectives the world of the private  Galleries and collectors.  In addition a student from the Camberwell College of Arts will reflect on the importance of the folio from a student’s perspective.  A panel discussion representing all the invited speakers will conclude the day providing a chance to further engage with the audience and suggest future developments.   Speakers include, artist Sonia Boyce and Amie Conway, Director of Graphics, Flowers Gallery, London; Nadine Loach, Dulwich Picture Gallery and Anna Wilkinson, Director, Northern Print.
