The exhibition curated by Paul Coldwell focused on the relationship of Morandi’s art to that of leading British Artists, Ben Nicholson, Christopher Le Brun, Michael Craig-Martin, William Scott, Tong Cragg, David Hockney, Victor Willing, Paul Winstanley, Euan Uglow, Rachel Whiteread, Patrick Caulfield, Theatre of Mistakes and Paul Coldwell. The exhibition, juxtaposing key works by Morandi with signature works by these artists was shown in exhibitions at Abbot Hall and the Estorick Collection in 2006. A fully illustrated catalogue was published by Philip Wilson Publishers. Coldwell gave a number of lectures related to this exhibition in Cumbria, London, Northampton and Bologna
